Recap of the History Section

Marching right along, we continue to read and study the word of God. It is hard to believe that it is already May and we are approaching the center of the Bible in the Psalms section.

During the History section, we watched a cartoon depiction of David and Goliath, colored pictures, and learned much more about where we came from as Christians from these scriptures.

For our History special project, we painted and decorated boxes in which to keep our own personal church history.

The Easter Sunday class was a special class for a lot of us, as we were able to enjoy the Payer Garden and feast on food to celebrate the end of Lent! It is not often that we get an opportunity to spend quiet time with God in a place that is designed to help us focus on Him alone.

Making a prayer rock, drawing a picture, tracing a cross and praying, or just sitting and looking at crosses and reflecting on the sacrifice that God made.—Easter was the perfect time to have this experience and we all came away feeling much closer to God.

We hope that this has been a great experience for everyone so far and that you are as excited about what's to come as we are!!
